The CGFNS Certification Program is designed for foreign educated nurses and health care professionals who wish to be employed in the U.S. The CGFNS - Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools - is an immigration-neutral, non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This internationally known organization deals with the certification evaluation relating to the education, registration and licensure of nurses and other healthcare workers worldwide.

CGFNS Certification guarantees that nurses and healthcare professionals educated in foreign nations are qualified to meet licensure, immigration and other practice requirements needed in the United States. (For additional information, see our CGFNS Overview page)

The CGFNS constantly increases the number of CGFNS test locations each year. The following section provides the current list of exam centers of CGFNS examination.

Obtaining a CGFNS Certificate
All applicants are reminded that in order to obtain a CGFNS Certificate, they must pass both the CGFNS Qualifying Exam and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
