P4 Dependent Visa

P4 Visa

P-4 Visa is a dependent visa issued to the spouse and child of P-1, P-2, and P-3 Visa Holders

Definition of P4 Visa:

The P4 visa is a non-immigrant US family visasP4 Visa issued to the immediate family members of P-1, P-2 and P-3 status holders. In general, this visa allows the spouse and unmarried children below 21 years of the principal P visa holders to enter and remain in the US.

The P1 visa or P1 entertainment visa allows aliens who are entertainers, circus artists, and athletes to temporarily enter into the U.S. for a specific competition, event, or performance. If an athlete on P-1 visa wishes to stay in the country for a longer period of time, he or she must apply for an O1 visa.

The P2 visa is issued to artists or entertainers, who wish to enter individually or as part of a group into the US as a part of an exchange program. This exchange program must include two organizations; one in the US and one overseas.

Culturally unique artists may obtain the United States P3 visa, which is a non-immigrant visa. This type of visa is suitable for foreign nationals coming temporarily to perform, teach, or coach as entertainers or artists, individually or as part of a group.

Study and Employment:

The P4 visa holder can attend any full time or part time school. But, if the visa holder wishes to do any job, he/she must change or “adjust status” to obtain a temporary work visa. To be exact, an individual holding P-4 dependent visa status cannot accept any employment in the US.
