US Work Visa is a temporary permit to live and work in the United States

  • L-1 Visas:
    • L-1A visa for executives and managers.
    • L-1B visa for workers with specialized knowledge.
  • O Visas:
    • O-1 visa is an employment-based visa issued to the foreign nationals who have extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics.
    • O-2 support visa for persons who are accompanying and assisting an O-1 artist or athlete in the artistic or athletic performance for a specific event or events.
  • E Visas:
    • E-1 treaty trader visa is issued to individuals known as 'treaty traders'. A treaty trader must be a national of a country with which the U.S. maintains a treaty of commerce and navigation.
    • E-2 treaty investor visa is issued to foreign nationals who wish to invest in the United States.
    • E-3 specialty occupation visa is issued only to Citizens of the Commonwealth of Australia, who will perform services in a “specialty occupation” in the United States.

Steps to apply for Work Visa:

  • Make sure the sponsor has already arranged a job for you or else he/she has faxed a letter of sponsorship.
    If yes, contact with the nearest U.S. consulate.
  • File the application form.
  • Provide all the supporting documents such as letter of sponsorship, identification papers, and a copy of your passport, as required by the USCIS.
  • Include a check/demand draft for the required fee.
  • Submit the material at least two months prior to the departure to the U.S.
